Well Kikker, your are right. The maintenance Costs will be a bit smaller. But you have also the cost of the power you load, and this is in europe now, with all of our "green" power the highest in europe, around 30 Eurocent. Hehe, some loading stations starts with a fee if you will load, some want more then 9 euro no matter how much you will load, 5 minutes or full capacity.
Yes i am very pessimistic with this revolution. Fact is, that the Train of EV rolls now, but i think, it will go slower than many expected. Believe me, Germany is far more behind this trend, less loading station, no Batterie production yet (VW with northvolt will establish it now, but when?) and a way to high Prices for the EV. And the Government supported the Industrie by far to less in this venture.
Your opinion About Tesla buyers is right, but thats an elitists circle, you must reach the masses for the success. And with my limited opinion we are far away from that.
