Yes, NMDC have been a disappointment. I do believe at some stage "eventually" they will be in the ECT picture. Why? Simply because they have too much to gain. They have mountains of fines that can potentially be turned into $. A couple of days ago - "Peaktopeak" posted an article re a tech that is trying to utilise iron ore fines. The article actually highlights the matmor advantages. Their process requires hydrogen from renewable resources. It also requires temps of 900C. Matmor proposes to utilise hydrogen etc from brown coal at much lower temps. So, from a technical/financial view - imo NMDC will want ECT at some stage.

Who really knows what is in the NMDC mindset. Nanda leaving was obviously a huge negative. They have about 20 directors & my guess is they are all panicked about the 3mtpa steel plant debacle they are already in. Which director currently wants to stick his neck out for another potential career destroyer...? Again, I don't know but my feeling is NMDC are temporarily risk averse.

Now, the new ex NLC ECT India CMD. With his stellar reputation - did he not foresee this NMDC situation? Obviously, NMDC was/is a bonus for him. I think even the naysayers here would admit he would have had many lucrative opportunities after 35 years at NLC. But he chose ECT India. Let's not forget NMDC only has the iron ore. There are other avenues to obtain that. ECT stated that they will look to other "steel industry participants". NLC has the lignite, waste heat, land, $, etc. The 20 tonnes coming to Oz - in the past, the NLC lignite was tested for power generation & matmor. This time it's expanded to hydrogen & WTE. Imo these results will be far more meaningful than those of years back.
Imo Selvakumar & NLC won't disappoint us. They were initiating site works before deals were signed - that says something.

Regarding WTE - some here think it was dreamed up because ECT knew NMDC were going to fade away & ECT needed another "story" to promote. If that's the case, why did ECT directors/staff pay $325,000 into the ELF? Nahh, as the Ann states - ECT were/are just as astonished as we are at the NMDC antics.

Also, the June 7 Ann tells us that in January 2019 ECT were approached re the WTE tech. Did ECT know back then NMDC were out & needed another "story"...? Ridiculous.

I read the WTE June 7 Ann again last night - I suggest you do too. Remember the last minute surge to 1.3c just prior to the suspension - maybe it was WTE buying? We assume it was NMDC related - but maybe not? I think even the naysayers here admit the plastic waste opportunity is a current one that has legs. My last few posts have focused on the low temp/ low pressure potential. Profit margins? Has the Australian/Victorian government appetite for WTE techs changed recently (Govt grants etc)..? What about their attitude to lignite (Kawasaki... hydrogen)..? Does the Latrobe valley need industry?

Will the share price get smashed on relisting? Imo no. I hope Chris sells out pronto (can't believe he thinks attacking NMDC on twitter is a good idea) but I reckon most of the negative posters here (who actually own stock) will hold because ECT has plenty of irons in the fire now. Years ago, the Kawasaki Coldry hydrogen potential alone would have sustained the sp. Let's hope ECT Ann some encouraging updates next week. As much NLC info as possible & ditto for the WTE tech.

    tick tock....
