I wouldn't mind beting you paid a 0.5% to 1% fee at least, you most likely gave a guarantee and they took a fixed and floating charge over the business, as is standard practice.
I would suggest no BUD directors would guarantee this facility, which would have increased the risk profile and fees.
But even so, the 3.75% they paid is still harsh.
