no junglebabe, it really doesn't.... most things, given human nature are eventually self-regulating...
an example: there used to be virtually no censorship on Hotcopper, and it was real fun to stick it to someone anyway you wanted - and this would cause a breakout in invective for a small period, but people simply got fed up with insulting other people (or ran out of insults) and lo and behold, a short time later the forum returned to normal with people kissing and making up.....
you see, if people were the type of 'organism' that self destructs when left to its own devices (as the Church and Governments want you to erroneously think), then please explain how for millions of years over which we have evolved and during which there was absolutely no regulation, how we have not wiped each other out?....
people are so easily persuaded and simple minded....
