Do some history and research dude!
USA in the early 1900’s. - buggy cost $25-50USD plus horse (say $20USD), so all up your out of pocket max $70 plus running costs. Early cars cost around $2000USD, the Model T came out at around $850USD then progressively dropped to around $260USD over next several years. Average American workers income was bit less than the $850 price tag.
Even if you do the math on the historical costs EV’s are already closer to cost comparison now than Model T got to Horse and Buggy. $260/$70 = 3.7 times, So at $100k for an EV vs $50k for ICE vehicle its already at 2.0 times and dropping to parity quickly.
Have a think about the cost of ICE vehicles today and EV’s (upfront and running) then realise the future will mirror the past!! EV’s rise will follow that of the ICE vehicles in the early 1920’s.
