Tabcorp are taking tote bets on whether the first 2 placegetters in a race will both be even, odd or mixed. This is supposed to be the great new betting market.
TAB Ltd had the same product about 15 years ago before they were taken over by Tabcorp. It was a complete dud and they had to ditch it after spending millions developing it.
Hard to believe no one in Tabcorp remembered what happened to TAB Ltd when they tried this. I would be very surprised if this market catches on. Pro punters won't play it unless the pools get big. Not enough mugs will play it. 3 contingency market at 110% makes it tough to find value.
