No chance that Ken and the KEY team are lazy. I have e-mailed Ken eight times previously. I promptly recieved replies for six of the e-mails. For the other two, I did not get a reply for a week, but then the information that I was explicitely enquiring about was released to market, and I then promptly received an e-mail from him, drawing my attention to the lastest announcement. So in summary, if you have asked about market sensitive information and he has not promptly replied, then IMO the news is coming very soon. The fact that news is near is supported by the fact that Ken is not shy to decline answering market sensitive questions for which announcement will not be made in the near future. For example, about six months ago, I e-mailed and asked about potential reserves of the Borsano-1 target, and he replied that he was 'not willing' to make a statement to me concerning reserves. So he is very careful in this respect, which is great! And he also wrote back to me once when he was in London, and once when he was at the airport, so I don't think this can be used as an excuse for not writing back.

I can tell you from personal experience that the people who work for spec oil and gas companies have so much on their plate you wouldn't believe it - seriously. I'm talking working from six in the morning until ten at night, seven days a week. And everyone talks to everyone in the industry, for example I can guarantee that he spends considerable time talking to bigger companies / majors about potential farm-in to Walvis/Lampedusa/Elba or SS West. They have lots to do.

For as long as I have been following this thread Elba has not even been mentioned! ENI drilled a well in the permit was that flown at 2mmcfp/d gas, and ENI acknowledge that conditions of the well bore were 'very poor' - who knows what might happen if the Company decide to re-enter...
