So Next want to buy the equity at a market cap of ~$25m.
How about they do an equity raising, selling shares to Next so they can buy 50% of the company, then take a low-cost loan from Next to reduce the debt to a good amount. That way they get what they want, share holders get to remain, and Next's new share holding should rise in value once the company is back on its feet.
It's a bit late now though.
