I accept your coments...and I would go so far as to say, as of the close yesterday, that SMY is in an upward channel.

Whether it will remain inan upward channel will depend on if it can trade above 82-83c today. If it trades below this sp as a result of the big fall in the ni price THEN, it may fall back to (or temporarily fall slightly below - 77c) the support level of 79c - this would represent a good buying opportunity as I would expect in the ni price to bounce back up again in the next 7-10 trading days.
