He is quoting the words of Paul but NOT the interpretation of his words.
Psa 33:6 - By the word of the LORD the heavens were made and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.--> (Spirit).
God said, God said = the word of Life 1 John 1:1 and as clearly shown in John 1:4, in him life was = in his word, words.
John 4:24 - Spirit the God is......(Jesus in no uncertain terms, makes it very clear that he was NOT a Spirit).
Heb 11:3 - Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Isa 45:12 - I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Jesus was the 2nd Adam = Man and the Bible is very very clear, the 2nd Adam was some thousands of years after the 1st Adam.
In the Gen's creation account, the events, descriptions ref in John 1:3, we have,....God said around 10 times, not Jesus and the above is clear, The Word only come out of Jesus in these last days = after Baptism which is where and WHEN he was sent into the world.
Rev 3:14 Jesus is the beginning of the creation of God = in the mind and plans of God, the beginning of his creation, foundation, the Jesus to be in the future was his first thought and ALL things were created for this future one.
Mr G creates this nonsense from this verses, Jesus was created first then all things created through Jesus.
Despite the Psa 33:6 and others saying, the heavens were created before any hosts, which Jesus would had to of been if he pre-existed.
Likewise, the Col 1:15, Jesus was the firstborn of God's inner creation = in the mind and plans of God.
The truth in the KJV and the Greek of Rev 13:8, Jesus was pre-slain from the foundation of the world.
Foundation also has the meaning of conception = in the mind and plans of God and backed via the likes of Titus 1:2, 2 Tim 1:9, Eph 3:9 and so on.
So creation through Jesus is simply meaning, by reason of, because of, for the sake of etc, of this future one to be.
