Loaded up with bratwurst and black forest cake after a brief sojourn that was my Aunty Septics birthplace, we get back into the contoured leather recaro seats and resume our autobahn journey. For many this trip is being enjoyed in the relative comfort of a supercharged Jaguar Xf 4.2 and although showing its age, it is such a graceful ride. However considering the history and mechanics of cars that feature The Leaper, reliability is an issue and hence taking an early exit is advisable for a service check. Time to check the fuel, the tyres, the engine and see what the next step might be. Could be hood just to enjoy a picnic by the riverbank as the roar of engines passes by. It doesn't matter to the Jag owner as their time in the sun enjoying a rest, a sandwich and a lager is now and they are damn happy. The sounds of a Shelby Cobra can be heard approaching, so to the deep throaty gurgle of a maserati. Behind that is the very high revving almost squealing sound of a Ferrari who looks like they want to make the journey on one tank as fast as possible. There are many cars on this trip, but the funny thing is that no one has the final destination. It hasn't been given to any of us yet, but some of the drivers here know that if this trip was happening in south America, the final destination would be somewhere in vinniezuela.
The panomera is a monster of a four door, this gt is just a bit ugly. Crikes, it is listed at about three hundred and thirty five kay which is crazy. Then again, you would only get an empty cockpit and a couple of seats in a learjet for the same coin.
