Thanks Slug05, an interesting read. I was aware of this, but the unique situation with FLC is that, instead of being used to generate a quick profit, the system has been applied over a period of 18 months in conjunction with spoofing or capping to drive the price down for the benefit of US investors and the detriment of Australian holders. As far as I'm concerned the major markets are controlled by criminals (for want of a better word). The regulators initially turned a blind eye to HFT and now it's too late to stop it.
