Apologies if this appears as a double post.
I think I may have used a way too conservative figure in yesterday's post when calculating LCE to GWh for the gigafactories.
I'm surprised that nobody pulled me up earlier.
425 tons was the lowest I could find, but they weren't lithium company - just a broker called Dundee Capital.
Galaxy's own figures assume a 800 tons per GWh.
Reuters quotes 840 tons per GWh.
There is actually no simply answer to the question of how to go from LCE to GWh.
It largely depends on the product and energy density being created and there are estimates of it being as high as 1300 tons to 2200 tons per GWh for higher spec batteries.
So those rough estimates of LCE requirement I posted.
