I believe the sovereign risk is blown way out of proportion ( I believe there is zero risk ).

The Baldwin joint venture partner Win Myint Mo, WMM, and their links with Asia World corporation is worth researching. Stephen Law, the founder of Asia World is an interesting character, (actually his father is a more interesting character), and I suspect the militia in Shan State will not be causing any problems for the Baldwin mine due to the involvement of WMM.

The Myanmar military government will never cause problems for the Asia World Corporation as this would probably spell the end of their power in Myanmar.
