So why not put a date that they actually thought could be achieved.

Why are financial reports outstanding from the quarter ended in March. Why not get basic fundamentals out of the way in advance of share issuance. Hell given the significant delays why not put out the June quarterly report well before deadlines so shareholders/potential shareholders have a view of recent business performance.
