Well this is significant - it means that a greater share of the population qualifies as hypertensive and can get access to medicare/ medicaid which means it is subsidised therefore more will use this service. with SphygmoCor having access to a CPT code and Oscar-2 allowing for in-home 24-hour measures, it means more potential patients have access to our technology.

This could lead to additional sales of both technologies - so we should ultimately benefit as well. A bit like if in Oz we all had to pa for flu vaccines, then it became subsidised by medicare - you'd expect that more people would get vaccinated as it would become cheaper or if previously only available to over 60's, and now was available to over 50's - larger market who would be inclined to use it at the lower cost.

Anyway - that's my reading of the announcement.
