I agree with you, I believe even the Thred.im website has been down for some time now. I think the recent volume was just someone finally dumping their lot and an older order being filled for another hopeful. If there was indeed something "brewing behind the scenes", we would've observed a similar pattern or rather even a slight volume trade today - which wasn't the case.
