Credit Suisse was in up to its eyeballs years ago in the systematic destruction of LNC's [Link Energy] SP. Price was pushed down from mid $2 to 50 cents over a number of months.... then rebounded very quickly. Later CS released sub notices which showed they were buying and selling from 3 different offices. [LNC subsequently imploded for its own reasons about a year later, but at the time of the SP collapse it was considered a rising star].
I agree with the above poster who does not trust CS... me neither. A big institution, if it is so inclined, can easily overwhelm retail.
