Thanks, haven't seen that article. You're right in the same premise that Genex utilised the infrastructure of the old mine to get the Ks1 done quick, Jemalong has the same aspect with an almost 'qrid ready' site.
The creation of renewable regions is probably a way the connection to the new projects can help. Don't want to be building wires out for a single project. Would guess that there will be more projects out near Kidston that would also benefit from the new connection to our hydro.
