When the first fax was recieved - they officially had 'notice' that it wasn't going ahead. Even if the president was saying one thing. The notice was in writing and signed by an exective officer. That is the point when either a notice should have been released to the ASX, or put into Trading Halt/Suspense while they sorted things out.
Who gives a rats if they were in Indonesia talking to people. There is a still a disclosure duty to let the market know when anything materialistic becomes noticable.
Very bad management in my view. If the ASX doesn't give them a rap over the knuckles for this, then they really are just a paper tiger!!
