AQC are not going to wash their coal. They intend to try to sell it unwashed. Their washery doesn't work and even if it did, they would then have to reopen a rehabilitation area to dispose of debris left behind by the washing process. They don't have the money for either of these jobs. Unwashed coal will be significantly cheaper to sell and I doubt China will want it.
