is all about dividend yield in my view, % rates around the world are falling, % rates for term deposits will be 1% soon OR LOWER, any STABLE stock that's got a divvy of 4%+ will be a winner here as investors, mums and dads and institutions chase ANY YIELD, as long as the company is fairly stable, AVJ paid a divvy even during the GFC years, so that's why investors are piling onto any decent company that's got a history of paying a good yield.
I managed to buy VCX at $2.45 the other week and its on a divvy of 6.5%, there are plenty of their and AVJ is one of them, if % rates around the world were 4-5% like they should be, AVJ would be below 50c in my view as the housing slowdown here continues.
