It is totally predictable. All Those people who were talking the stock up last week with their web-links and charts (with silly lines drawn through them), SOLD today AS THEY HAD PLANNED TO DO SO THEN while upramping. They are gonna buy again, talk it up with more web links and charts (and silly lines drawn through them), then sell. Daily cycle (with lunch time peak) has changed to weekly cycle ... well that is a progress ... I guess ... but you would not be blamed to question management over this nonesence.
Management, do you hear me? Consider cancelling your F N FB & tweeter account and other silly non-ASX market feeds, before someone serioysly looks into "any" correlation.
