    Hi Boomer.

Perhaps the following may help in your cause.

    Hi All.

The following are extracts from an Intec report. Unfortunately while I have a hard copy I have not got the download on my computer so I have had to do some typing to fill you in on it a bit.

    Intec Hellyer Metals.

    Demonstration Plant Program Outcomes.

    1.0 Summary.
The Burnie Demonstration Plant program was successfully completed on August 2006.........

    3.0 Gold Extraction and Recovery.
Gold extraction ...........was significantly below expectations at about 15% compared to the predicted 35%.
(It was estimated that) "about 75% of the gold was leached (but) was re-precipitated into the leach residue. This is caused by an effect known as "pre-robbing" ........."
"Recent Intec research has however clearly shown that the "pre-robbing" effect can be overcome by the use of iodide salts. This has been tested......raising the potential to improve gold extraction from 15% to 65%. The improved effectiveness of iodide over bromide is so great that the higher cost is completely offset by a reduction in the quantity required."

Thus Intec is quite confident that it can extract gold from the tailings and do so profitably. However it would mean that scarce resources would be diverted from the IMRP. That is definitely not going to happen. The IMRP has priority over everything else. Just remember that the gold is not going anywhere and that when the time is right Intec will be after at least 65% of it.

    Cheers.
