Just an extract from an article ..the key words are "Discontinouous" - in the case of BDG

and "continuous: in the case of MCO.

Think of MCO like CTO but with nuggety gold ..which can be gravity separated ,so no acid consumption or expensive plant is required.

"why MCO is a winner compared to the fate of bendigo mining is that the geological system is a very different system. in nick garling's (MCO managing director) own words :"...the gold is contained in diorite dyke hosted quartz veins, where Bendigo sits inside a deformed & discontinuous sedimentary rock system. the Morning Star dyke has well defined continuous reefs with visible gold....in contrast to the Bendigo model, which only ANTICIPATED a repetition of gold mineralisation at depth". and from the last MCO announcement we now know that the known size of the dyke is increasing both north & south.
