Good announcement today on Maffra 1: Oil 127.5 barrels/day and Gas 0.57 mcf/day. Looks like reasonable commercial flow rates comparable to the first commercial discovery in Australia in 1961 by Union Oil jv with the drilling of UOD Moonie 1 which produced 666 barrels/day with 123,990 cf/day of gas from the Precipice Sandstone, the same formation that Maffra has accessed.
