Hi HR
Yes the Gibio figures have changed, maybe their initial projections were over ambitious, for example they've gone from 1200 lettuce per machine to 576. They were going to have 14 rooms each having 30 machines (420 machines), now 20 rooms of 36 for 720 machines. Good for us, we sell 720 machines per facility instead of the original 420.
As Gibio & Freshero are using the same machines & automation, I believe the delay is due to the automation, which would seem to be a late customer specification. That on top of going from 4' machines to 8' is the culprit. I was told they now have the design work etc completed for the automation so even though there might be minor adjustments, it wont affect the construction of the grow rooms. Looks like 36 machines per room.
As I've said before, the market is tired of delays & wants to see some runs on the board. Signed agreements with Freshero & Gibio and a firm construction schedule - soil turned. A JV with one of these cannabis companies would also go a long way in instilling some confidence back into the market. I know Adam is aware of this & the team are working hard to get these needed results.
