    Hi Peter,

    I notice you post quite frequently on this company. Are you seeing any potential that is above the sector average?


    Holding as few GER/O as I do, my exposure is to cover potential acquisitions and other unforeseen developments. Do you think the company holds any particular merit?

    I note they have about 67M shares on issue, with a further 64M long-dated options, with 33M extra options to be issued upon the exercise of the 08/10 45c options. My impression is that the main target is the moderate-depth, low temperature, saturated Gippsland (LaT/Geelong) GELs, to be developed at ~3000m for 150C with direct-heat uses. The company has had the 82.5MW plant quoted as being NPV positive, though these tenements do not look likely candidates for direct electricity generation

    Do you reckon there will be much money to be made in direct heat? I can't see it, but would stand happily corrected!
