magellan is the bitcoin of funds management. gone from $22 at the start of the year to a whopping $60. i get that FUM has increased substantially, but FUM peers globally are trading at around 15-20 trailing earnings. MFG is trading on..wait for it..49 times earnings, despite being much smaller than global peers.
as its like bitcoin in characteristics, fundamentals and valuation are just noise.
