Apparently costs assoc with the engineers industrial action for their 2% (or $2.5mill) has now cost the company close to...... wait for it...... $180mill!!! This money would have been better off in our pockets than that of the Airports, hotels and taxi drivers. GD (and ultimately the board) has let this personal issue go to far. Surely good business sense should have prevailed.
