Hi Buckland, if it's any consolation I agree with you that this should not be an opt out scheme but rather, if you are happy to have an unmarketable parcel sold for no cost, you should be reqiired to opt in.
Perhaps the company considers that under an opt in scenario they may not reduce the register as much as they may have hoped, but expedience is not always the best or fairest course. Loyalty to long time shareholders is not something that I find ADO excel in.
