Not what this post or article is about. This is the LYC forum. This article is a curious and I believe significant upgrade to the Toyota-China tie-up that bodes well for near-to-mid-term EV push.
Toyota has previously eschewed BEVs in what I believe a misstep. Their own guidance re' the use of hybrid tech to sidestep infrastructure issues is curious given their previous focus on fuel cells (Mirai).
Looks to me like they are planning a much bigger move into BEVs / PHEVs. Love this.
