No I am a Melbourne boy but have properties in Brisbane as well.
I am interested in SA because I see signals similar to what I saw in Perth in 2005. Having said that my view of Adelaide is more of a 3-4 year view whereas if I take a 10-15 year view I think Melbourne and SE QLD will outperform.
I don't know all that much about Sydney other than I lived in Cammeray and North Sydney for a while and thought they were great in terms of accessability. I think if I were to investigate Sydney I would start in those areas and then compare other areas to them.
I am in a watching and recording mode at this moment but will go into acquisition mode in September or thereabouts. Moving into 2009 I hope to make multiple acquisistions as I divest myself of shares.
