    Due to the new employees that Xiecheng/iTEST were advertising for unlikely to be selected and trained for at least another month, I would assume that no large body of MABR installs will be done on the Western side of Hubei province/Shaanxi until the supervisory and operation & maintenance staff are in place in the region.

    I believe that rather than creating their own news, "China Transport News" disseminate and highlight relevant regional news to their readership. So while the article you posted has been updated, it was essentially a shortened version of the article that Hubei Daily originally published. The 40/19 numbers have not changed from the Hubei article, so while Shaanxi is specifically highlighted, I think their installs will occur in future. Good for awareness though, to keep reminding those transportation related institutions that may have seen iTEST's presentations on MABR at the various China Highway Society meetings.

    I am making the assumption that if any work has been done in Shaanxi, that it is only a single pilot site similar to Xiaogan, for the purposes of provincial standards testing.

    iTEST will be fantastic for building up the credibility of MABR across China. We have to be patient, but we are likely to see the wider opportunities occur in 2020 and 2021. As you said, even this iTEST partnership is not even 1 year old yet, yet we are seeing them help to push this nationally.
