Good Post - enlightening present day mob about conditions inside the Nazi camp.
On the other side; conditions in the UK were grimmer than Germany for most of War; only reversed about 1944.
I came home from OS in September 43 to find Everything rationed -except Potatoes (They were often hard to get)
- Shocked us returning servicemen.
