About three years ago, as my wife had severe, and painful, OA in her knuckles, I looked into available treatments, of which there were virtually none.

So, I spent some time on the Internet, and read up on Pentosan.

After some discussion, and a relatively small amount of difficulty, I found an open-minded GP who was happy to prescribe PPS in a suppository format. I took the script to a compounding pharmacist who filled the prescription.

My wife had an excellent outcome, and her pain is greatly reduced.

At that point I bought myself a swag of PAR shares

The cost of the medication was approximately $100.

IMO you can't outsource responsibility for your health, and you need to take ownership of these things yourself.
