    REQUEST FOR TRADING HALTIn accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Zinc of Ireland NL (ASX: ZMI) (“ZMI” or “the Company”)requests an immediate trading halt of its securities pending the release of an announcement relatingto a mineral resource estimate.The Company requests that the trading halt remains in place until the earlier of such time it releasesthe announcement to the market regarding the mineral resource estimate and the commencement oftrading on Wednesday 31 July.The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, nor any otherinformation necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.Yours faithfully,Patrick Corr
