Xtrades are where a broker has two clients who both want to buy and sell the same share for the same price. Instead of buying on market selling on market, the broker just does a cross trade, and settles in one trade.
Can also be done for manipulative purposes i.e. company transfers 2k shares to a related individual or something like that. Makes the SP look good which also may trigger some buyers back in with a flag on their charts.
Be interesting to see how this positive finish (first in a while) will play on the SP tomorrow.
