Depends how widely and accurately the news has leaked from the company.

Tiring - as I said last week, the company passing on information about upcoming announcements is comforting to long term holders, but only really benefits short term traders. Traders can load up on speculation and sell into an announcement - stopping it dead in its tracks. If the market had very little idea about what was coming, traders would be forced to buy on news to ride the momentum rather than getting in before confirmation.

Look at FDL (FMS) for what a truly unexpected good announcement can do to the share price. Traders were all over it sending it sky high. With the was news gets leaked, I cannot imagine CVI shooting up 700-800% in a day, even if warranted.

Oh well - enough grumpy doom and gloom from me - today looks good!
