Actually I liked the sound of IRL at one stage last year but after doing more research decided it is not a good stock. What caught more where two things
1) they did not own any assets at Surda
2) the contract could be cancelled by HCL at any time, no reasons given.
Plus the fact they gave no information. Cash cost, resource, what price HCL will pay.
It was clear MON drew the short stick in that contract. Why they took it I don't know. My guess is to make some people some quick money but not the shareholders.
Then I saw MK at the Sydney Mining Luncheon and he was awful. Just a salesman. Rude, obnoxious, claiming people who sold MON were idiots and did not know anything. Claiming MON was an absolute sleeper. With his back against the wall he finally said the cash cost for IRL was $1.70/lb.
