Curious to know about CGT. Have resisted trading heavily due to that very reason. At least now you get a 50% discount if you hold for more than 12 months.
I know the market has been hard work lately, but without giving too much away, has it been worth it to hop in and out.
Again I've been tempted many times to day trade myself, but with the costs of brokerage, heavy tax penalties, higher risks etc. I'm yet to find out if its worth it. Plus if your working with a buy in of at the VERY least less than 100 grand I cant see it generating too much profit. Please advise.
