I am not sure that I agree with your view that the company knew that the share price would go lower so it went ahead with a placement before it actually needed the cash.

The reason for the timing of the placement given to me by the company was basically the board saw a window of opportunity to raise funds from some larger players who had expressed interest in being involved. The board felt it was better to raise funds earlier rather than waiting until they actually needed the funds at which time the larger players may have gone elsewhere.Or heaven forbid the SP might have fallen because of adverse market conditions

IMHO we have to accept that most speculative stocks have been severly affected by the downturn in the market and yes the SP of CFU may fall further before it heads north on achieving sustainable milestones
Again IMHO the fundamentals of CFU have not changed all that has changed is the SP caused by market conditions. Buyers are now factoring in the risk factor.This was never a short term investment

I intend buying more shares but i will watch the market in an endeavour to pick an appropriate time
