While I have some reservations that the Directors would even contemplate such a dangerous concept as a dividend it would be nice to have a surprise. Can we at least dream and find that when they complete their figures for the full year that they might by accident actually recommend a dividend of say 5 cents ?

While they did say back at the half year that a dividend was not really on their agenda in the immediate future since they had expansion plans.
However, apart from finally appointing Mr Prudence to a new position there is very little evidence now of anything else of the grand design. A dividend would help to lessen shareholder frustration and help to reduce the build up of steam for the AGM.

Will they have the capacity for action on that front. This will be an interesting test of their ability to respond to a remarkable set of conditions that have produced such strong cash flows.
