Interesting philosophy on trading.
IMV there are many circumstances that dictate different investors you will see here. Some are at different stages of their life where mortgage, kids, retirement, disposable income etc determines what they can do.

If someone on here is in late sixties there would not have been Super when they started their working life for instance so what works for one doesn't necessarily work for all. I average 9c for FAR shares but am unwilling to average down for 2 reasons.
1. Not willing to put more money into this share but oil hasn't gone anywhere so will sit it out. Still see a profit coming.
2. FAR is not in my top 10 shares to hold so i see better companies out there to invest in. Some i rate better than FAR i do not hold. Why? Because FAR is in my Super as is in Asx300. Others are not. Most of my investing is in my Super.

Different strokes for different folks. Doesn't mean one is more right than the other.
