As KB said in the CNBC interview at Dealers & Diggers, most of the Li bought by the Chinese is used for internal consumption" or words to that effect. I would add that a growing amount ends up in battery cells going to Europe which would also not be affected by USA tariffs.
Cleaning up the air around the world has a very high priority and in my view would be the least affected industries by the spat between USA and China.
