    'Outrageous': Apartment giant blasts nation's building standards

    The boss of one of Australia's largest apartment developers, Mirvac, has called for an urgent lift in building standards, describing the sale of defective units as a "breach of faith".

    The industry has been thrown into turmoil after high profile evacuations of poorly built apartment towers prompting calls for reform.
