Don't mean to downramp but aren't these volumes a bit insignificant relatively speaking? I'd assume any director faced in this scenario would sacrifice some portion of their personal income to keep shareholders quiet (and sell later).
I'm not trying to be negative, just playing devil's advocate. Directors buying stock after negative press is really common and a lot of the time turns out to be more of a PR act then anything else.
