yeah, i had though the same thing volt. BUT, I've been tracking his calls for the past 18 months or so and while there's been a few that have been wrong, overall, he's on money.

I'm not one to make things complicated, some of the graphs posted on here i glance at very quickly and promptly forget.

As my wife would all too willingly tell you, i'm an extremely simple person - don't like things when they get all complicated. i'm also extremely pragmatic and practical - if it works, do it! if it don't, whats the point and discard!

twiggs work is possibly over simplified and he does make many generalisations. but, i done some lengthy paper trades over the time i've been following his calls, and I can tell you, making exception for what would have been a few bad trades (minimal losses with stops), IF I'd have followed his calls and placed conservative positions and held to the support/resistance targets he gives - I'd have significantly more money now than what I currently have.

his targets on the ftse and spi are 4400 and for oil he rerated it last weekend for a target of 156.

he said a few weeks back some support for ftse at 5400 - which there was, but if broken 4400. i closed my shorts at 5487, then watched and waited, watched it break 5400 then test resistance, i started shorting again at just above 5400 and accumulate downwards. I'm finding it hard to believe that 4400 will be reached on ftse BUT i've felt the same way about some of his other targets and generally, they reach his targets. so trying to keep emotion out of the game and just trade the numbers and place comfortable stops. currently have a stop on the ftse at 5250, i figured if that gets taken out, it'll probably go back up to test 5400 again and then we can re-assess.

but hey, whatever works for you, everyone is different and everyone trades on different risk tolerances - there's no 'right' or 'wrong' way to trade, only trades that make money, and ones that don't.
