$$$$$$$$$$.
When drilling for OIL or GAS, but mainly oil
you do come across sands, when the sands are
pushed to the shakers, which are a screen that
the drilling mud goes through, they take a
sample of the said sands and look for
Fluorescence,if there is Fluoro in the sands
that means oil.
Gas has sands also, you usually know when you get
Gas because you get a few bubbles rising to the
surface in the riser, you also get the odd whiff
of it.
