The investment Carsales made in Argentina in 2017, albeit small at ~A$7m, looks to be a complete wipe after last nights Peso devaluation and ongoing weak macro environment. Carsales has a lot of irons in the fire when it comes to their overseas operations. I question how well they truely know these markets, particularly in Latin America. I suspect some of these will come home to roost in the next 12months.
